I am a freelance violinist and teacher, as well as also teaching piano and viola. I began playing the violin at the age of 4 and continued to learn throughout school, playing with both county level and national ensembles regularly. After A levels, I achieved my Bachelor degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. In May 2018 I graduated from my Masters Degree at Gothenburg University with a Master of Arts specialising in Symphonic Orchestral Performance.
Throughout studying both in London and Gothenburg, I have regularly performed with a variety of different ensembles and am an experienced orchestral player. I have also been teaching violin privately for the past six years and have also been involved with workshops and group teaching.
I am an enthusiastic teacher and my main priority when teaching is to ensure the pupil loves what they are playing. However I also believe that a solid technical grounding is also important and so I ensure that everything we do is grounded in good technique.
