Improving your health is more than just a fitness decision, it’s a lifestyle commitment. My one-on-one and group sessions provide an excellent opportunity to exercise your body and mind, but they’re also a great time to relax and unwind.
Traditionally, Yoga was only ever taught on a one-to-one basis which is great for adapting the teaching to each individual student’s needs. A one to one class with me is a private meeting where there are no set rules as it totally depends on your needs. You could be a total beginner, completely advanced, or somewhere in the middle. Often, the first class will start with a discussion, to allow the me as the teacher to get to know you and to understand your aims, needs, expectations and abilities. We will also discuss which areas you need to work on, whether you are coming from an injury, or if you just want to relax.
My classes are for mixed abilities, encompassing many styles of yoga. If you are a beginner, we can start with slow Hatha yoga, and slowly build up to Hatha Flow or Vinyasa Flow. If you are an intermediate yoga student we can work on improving existing skills and Ashtanga (The Primary Series, The Intermediate Series). For seasoned pro's we can move on to the Advanced Series in Ashtanga.
If you are after something more relaxing, we can do Yin/Restorative Classes with Sound Healing if you prefer.
All Classes (other than Yin and Restorative) will include an inversion, e.g. Headstand, Handstand, Shoulderstand etc.
Please let me know if there are any existing health issues, so I can plan my class accordingly, we can start slow and build up from there.
Just to let you all know, I’m offering 10% off all classes for the month of July 2018, so 1 hr classes will now be £45 (originally £50) and 90 min classes will be £63 (originally £70).
